Yesterday, Dolly Parton surprised fans by announcing a rare six-concert residency titled, Dolly: Live in Las Vegas, which will take place at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace this winter. The highly anticipated mini-residency will run from December 4 to December 13, and is set to coincide with the National Finals Rodeo.
“To say I’m excited would be an understatement. I haven’t worked Vegas in years and I’ve always loved singing there. I’m looking so forward to the shows in The Colosseum at Caesars and I hope you are as well. See you there.” – Dolly Parton
It’s been awhile since Dolly performed in Vegas. Dolly’s previous residency was a successful run at the Mirage in the early ’90s, where she performed nearly 50 shows. Tickets go on sale on Wednesday, June 25th at 10 a.m. PT, with VIP packages available which “may include a personal photo op with Dolly herself, an onstage tour, access to Dolly’s Rhinestone Lounge, a deluxe gift set and more.”
