Dear Real Country listeners,
I hope this message finds you enjoying the music we bring to you every day. I wanted to take a moment to share some news regarding my role on the station.
After much consideration, I have decided to take a step back and will no longer be heard during the afternoons on 101.3 Real Country. It was a tough decision but is best for myself and my family. While I will miss being with you during that time slot, I am excited about the change coming!
I want to express my deepest gratitude for your support and loyalty throughout my time with 101.3 Real Country. It has been an incredible journey, and I am honored to have been a part of your lives through the music and laughter we shared.
Moving forward, the station is introducing a familiar host for the afternoon slot. Mr. Chris Kennedy will take over that time slot and I have no doubt that you will embrace the move and enjoy his energy and passion for country music.
I’m extremely excited to announce who will be on in midday, my good friend, Mr. Scotty Cox. Scotty is a fantastic human being who is witty, knowledgeable, and friendly, and will surely make these transitions seamless.
I want to assure you that while my time in the afternoons may be coming to an end, I will forever cherish the memories we have created together. Your continued support has meant the world to me, and I am truly grateful.
Thank you once again for being a part of the 101.3 Real Country family. I am excited to see where the station goes from here and know that it will continue to bring you the best in country music.
